Save the Children Consortium
To strengthen multi-sectoral governance of nutrition contribution both to national and district development planning and monitoring as well as informing national level policies.
Under Afikepo programme, Save the Children in partnership with Civil Society Agriculture Network (CISANET) is enhancing and sustaining nutrition security through advocacy, awareness raising and capacity building of stakeholders at national level and in 10 Afikepo districts.
Outcome One
Nutrition forms an integral part of national and 10 Afikepo district development policies and priorities resources for nutrition outcomes at national and district levels are planned and budgeted for.
OutcomeTwo
At the district level, the project provides financial and technical support to the District Education Manager’s Office to implement the national strategy especially with regard to capacity building and knowledge sharing between zones and districts.
